Being his friend is sometimes difficult in spite of the chemistry I know is between us. He says he doesn’t believe in relationships, but I’ve always thought he was protecting himself from potential pain.
Then we end up in bed together. Totally unplanned and totally amazing. Or at least I thought it was. Mitch has been cold and aloof, so I have to conclude that he didn’t like it as much as I did.
My first day of morning sickness hits me like a ton of bricks. I know immediately that I’m pregnant and I have no idea how I’m going to tell my baby daddy. Finally, I make him talk to me and as I expected, he’s not thrilled about becoming a father. By now, though, I’m excited.
I have no idea what the future holds for me and my new bundle of joy. I hope Mitch will come around. But if he doesn’t, he’ll be the one who loses out. On being a father and on me.
