Honestly, Donovan Rowe expected the demigoddess of love to be sweet, tender, and maybe a tad easy—if you know what I mean—and he was prepared to tolerate that last bit. He’d anticipated that the demigod of war and Allie Mason wouldn’t have much in common when the new demigod dating site connected them. But, he’ll go to Portland and meet her because they’re both ready to flame out if they don’t spend time with their match. Portland. Ew. It’s so…not violent.
Allie is finding her match all kinds of precious with his preconceived notions and his grumbly and standoffish persona that is completed by an eye patch. She wants him and intends to have him. He is prudishly clutching his pearls at her brash seduction attempts and sassy attitude. It’s Beauty vs. the Beast, baby, and the demigod of war never expected her to be the beast. He’s in her castle, though, and if there’s one thing Allie knows—it’s that love conquers all.
Content Allie Mason works in a women’s shelter helping women and children escape violent situations. This is handled with compassion, and the narrative contains no graphic scenes depicting violence of that nature, but some readers may be sensitive and should skip this one.
All’s Fair in Love, War, and Demigods is a quirky paranormal romance novella that is perfect to read in a waiting room, during a commute, or on a lunch break. It has a HEA, no cheating, and a sexy-sweet heat level.
If you like demigods, flirty banter, prudish demigods of war, and tatted heroines, you’ll love All’s Fair in Love, War, and Demigods. It also has the hero and heroine sparring in a sexy way—in case you’re a fan of that. If you like romances that break your heart before healing it, moments that make you laugh loud enough to scare your pet, and, of course, a happily ever after, you’ll love All’s Fair in Love, War, and Demigods, a paranormal rom-com novella, and the third book in the Dating a Demigod series.
All’s Fair in Love, War, and Demigods was originally published in the anthology, Magic Flame, Enchanted #3. That anthology is no longer available.
