Hades Forest: (Unbreakable Souls series #3)

"Crocosmia."
A deep male voice... It amazed her with the tone of statement with which he pronounced her shop's name instead of questioning..
She muttered anxiously, "Yes... It's Crocosmia shop... How can I help you?"
"A bouquet of flowers... I want it ready within two hours when I'll send someone to pick it up.."
He wasn't asking.... The man was ordering her.. This aroused her annoyance.. But also aroused her curiosity as she asked him, "Do you want it in a specific arrangement? .. I mean if you prefer certain flowers?"
Another silence.... It seemed to her like the silence of the ocean... Her confusion at the sudden simile ended when he suddenly asked her, "What are your favorite flowers?"
She blinked her eyes in disbelief that he was asking her this question... Then she said with a challenge that surprised even herself naming the only unavailable type, "Carnation."
A faint laugh came to her... A faint masculine laugh that barely touched her ears... Before he said confidently, "Why don't you try iris.... A mixture of white and purple florets... It would be wonderful... I won't ask you for anything unavailable.. For nothing is more hateful to me than promises that can't be fulfilled.."
She was silent for moments... Unable to say anything.. Before he continued, "Put a card for me... Without any words... Just a simple signature... R F... It will be enough... And I'll take care of writing the rest..."
Her silence continued for moments before the voice said calmly, "Am I asking you for something beyond your abilities?"
She said immediately, "Not at all."
"I'll pick up the bouquet then after two hours."
The call ended… While Crosia kept staring at the phone silently... Nothing brought her back to her senses except the entry of a new customer who managed to capture her attention... She fulfilled his request without being able to stop thinking about her mysterious customer... How did he read the challenge between her words and realize that carnation is unavailable.... Moreover, how did he realize that iris... her mother's namesake... is her favorite flower..
From afar.... And on the other side of the sidewalk.. That black Mercedes car that passed just moments ago next to Crocosmia shop stopped... Where the forty-something driver.. Huge in body and cold in features settled calmly in his place.. Waiting to receive his order to move.
In the back seat... The man clad in black was looking through his sunglasses at the girl in the white dress who was busy preparing a small bouquet for her young and small customer..
He put his mobile phone with which he was talking to her minutes ago aside..... And looked at the file that settled on his knee... He opened it to contemplate the picture of the same girl while she was walking to her work the previous morning.. Without knowing that she was being watched.
He twisted his mouth with a sarcastic side smile.. And tasted the name written above the sign that topped the shop.. In a low hoarse voice... That would frighten the listener if he sensed what was behind his masculine tone of predatory instincts whose victim was one person, "Crocosmia.."
"Hades Forest" is a steamy Enemies-to-Lovers romance. It’s the third book of the Unbreakable Souls Series, but you can read it standalone.
