Golden Moon (Latin Moon #3)
J.R. Rain, Matthew S. Cox

Next El Dorado—The Lost City of Gold
It all begins shortly after Sam and company arrive in Colombia, when a disembodied head awakens them in the middle of the night.
Turns out, the head belongs to the famous explorer, Sir Walter Raleigh, who lost it to an executioner’s ax 400 years earlier. The very essence of determination, the intrepid explorer isn’t about to let a little thing like death stop his search for the legendary City of Gold.
And so, when Sam’s tour group gets transported to another place and time, the vampire detective suspects the ghostly explorer had something to do with it.
Unfortunately, the city of gold is brimming with danger, and when Sam comes across a child about to be sacrificed high atop a golden temple, she springs into action.
Now, the race is on to save a child, escape the bad guys, and find a way home.
All in day’s work for Samantha Moon, vampire private eye!
