Now my father has passed away, and I have to return to Willowbrook. The old farmhouse needs closing up and the funeral arrangements made. It’s the least I can do for the man who always supported me.
But returning to Willowbrook means facing the Farringtons and seeing Trace again.
I should be angry with him. I shouldn’t want anything to do with him, but when we meet, old feelings resurface and I’m lost. We aren’t teenagers anymore, and with age has come wisdom and maybe even forgiveness.
