Emara and Holly are on trains passing in the night as they journey to each other’s homes. Emara is going to stay at Holly’s farm for a week and Holly is going to be staying with Emara’s husband in the city. “Aw hell, unwanted huh? With Jett and Mr Forde, you mean?”
“Uh huh, though not totally unwanted. I might have fun teasing them a little bit too,” Emara said and stroked down my chest. “Would you be upset if I did, Leo? If Holly’s going to be doing that with you?”
“But what’s Holly going to be doing with me, baby? What have you two talked about?”
“Um, just that she wants to pretend to be a city wife for the week living here and that I’m going to pretend to be a country girl on a farm. I wanted to ask you if you’d play along a little and pretend to be her husband.”
“Aw hell, pretend how?” I gulped.
Emara giggled. “Hmm, not like that exactly, but to treat her like you treat me otherwise and make it nice for her. Make her drinks and snacks, and if you want you could give her a shoulder rub sometimes or let her put her feet in your lap on the lounge…….
