Our time apart wasn’t enough to douse the flame that burns for my dad. Like a fine wine, he gets better with age. He’s on a journey of self-discovery, and I’m the only one who can guide him through it. By the time Father’s Day comes around, I’ll make sure he accepts himself, along with my fist.
