In BARN-AGEDDON! The Downfall , the yellow book, and the third in the series, the animals at Peaceful Haven, now own their farm. The Beaver has been pardoned and is now a music impresario. He signs up two of Emma’s children.

The Beaver is elected mayor, unopposed. Grace comes looking for Bob Clydesdale and Rex Shepherd falls for Angel Shepherd. The Beaver is corrupt in office so Maisy Mouse stands for mayor when his term expires and is elected.

The Beaver disputes the result of the election but then agrees to a peaceful transfer of power to Maisy, enraging his supporters who march on the barn. The animals, led by Bernie Bear, stand their ground.

The Beaver goes on the run, whilst the pressure tells on Gus. Sadly, Garth Clydesdale, leader of the Clydesdales, and Emma Mouse, leader of the animals, pass away and the animals hold funerals. But new life is everywhere.

These dramas take place against the background of a troubled love affair between Grace Filly and Bob Clydesdale who share a daughter, Cindy, with bright new love emerging between Rex Shepherd and beautiful Angel Shepherd.

This story also touches upon issues relating to the rights, feelings and maybe even the expectations of animals working and surviving in a world of humans where their welfare can be overlooked.
