Presley has returned home to her island; the Big Island of Hawaii, to help her Tutu, her grandmother. Having studied in New York for a year, she is getting back into a different flow of life. Switching concrete jungles for real ones, skyscrapers for volcanoes and the brown sloshing of the Hudson for turquoise waves filled with magnificent creatures.

Being on the other side of the island, where Tutu resides in a home of an independent caring facility, dogs are adopted by residents and the sun shines every day, Presley is starting over. She’s happy to have a job in a boutique at the hotel resort and learn from her new boss. Plus, there’s a delicious malasadas food truck down the road with friendly people and Kona coffee next door.

And then there’s the new guy, a tall, strong and handsome man who is not from this island. He decides to go for a swim but gets a cramp, and who’s there to save the day?

Presley decides to show him around her beautiful island and teach him about her culture and heritage, and he does the same in return. Together they seem to be chasing rainbows, or are the rainbows chasing them?
