Though tears welled up in my eyes, I refused to cry for the man who slept with other women in my presence. "Yes, Alpha." I met his gaze and replied. "No," he growled. "Yes, Alpha," I repeated, but he merely walked past me. As soon as he was out of sight, my legs gave out, and tears streamed down my cheeks. "Congratulations, Luna. You're pregnant," the doctor said with joy, but my world came to a halt. I couldn't be happy, not when I'd suffered so much at the hands of my fated mate.
