BARN-AGEDDON! The Struggle: A Tale of Hooves, Heartbreak and Havoc by Ken McDonald
In BARN-AGEDDON! The Struggle , the indigo book and the sixth in the series, Maisy Mouse stands down as leader. Allen Clydesdale takes over. The animals decide to stay on the farm and the Beaver continues to avoid capture.

Wes Beaver, accused of contacting the Beaver, switches the focus and accuses the animals of harboring the fugitive. Police search the farm. Two geese are arrested for back-chatting and Sam Clydesdale settles into marriage.

The Clydesdales feel lost, with tension in the group. At FKN, Suzie is lead reporter whilst Remington is struggling. Suzie takes on Wes Beaver over the false accusations and Creative makes a power grab. Wes Beaver resigns as mayor.

The drought finally breaks bringing relief to the animals and Cindy gives birth to a beautiful foal, Max. Wes Beaver is under investigation and Don Coyote is hunted over the missing DNA. The animals wet the foal’s head.

These crises occur against the background of Maisy’s health battle and new life with Alain. The animals face false accusations whilst Remington deals with Suzie’s rise. Sam is married but the Clydesdales struggle with life.

This story also touches upon issues relating to the rights, feelings and maybe even the expectations of animals working and surviving in a world of humans where their welfare can be overlooked.

If you have enjoyed this story about the delights and dramas confronting the animals who live in the barn on the farm, Peaceful Hollow, then look out for the next book in the BARN-AGEDDON! series.
