He left his wife and was finally free. She'd been the worst mother he'd ever seen or heard of. All she had done was threaten him and say she would get the girls, and he would be all alone if he left her. That turned out not to be true, and he was thrilled she was gone, and he had his girls with him. His stepdad had found him a nanny, but she didn't look like any nanny he had ever seen. Her name was Carlotta, and his two little girls had immediately fallen in love with her. The problem was he wasn't sure he hadn't as well.
Darren drew her in, and she didn't understand why because he wasn't even a wolf. She was a wolf with a little bit of witch thrown in and that was why she had been sent here to play nanny, but she was really intended to protect him and the girls. She was well trained and felt confident if she wasn't overwhelmed by numbers. Darren probably wouldn't be much help because he was not a fighter. One more reason why she didn't understand why she was so drawn to him since he wasn't her type at all.
Thrown together by circumstances, would they see what was between them, or would they ignore it and be miserable forever?
