“What are you looking at?” David asked, Adam’s silent observation making him restless and anxious.
Adam smiled. He took off his suit jacket and unbuttoned his cuffs, rolling up his sleeves and exposing his muscular forearms. He took a step forward, moving into David’s personal space in what felt like a deliberate effort to crowd him.
Still not speaking, he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a pair of leather gloves.
Mouth dry, David watched Adam put them on. They were familiar thin black leather, showing off every vein and knuckle of Adam’s hands, and David was distinctly reminded of how Adam had punished him the last time he'd worn them.
The memory had David’s balls pulling up in arousal.
Without warning, Adam lifted his hand and slapped him across the face. David heard the loud smack more than he felt it, his head swinging to the side under the force of the blow.
