Pihak Istana takut hubungan Lee Sin dan Chae Kyeong yang kurang harmonis diketahui rakyat, mereka pun menyetujui penggabungan kamar. Namun hal itu malah membuat hubungan keduanya semakin kaku. Bahkan saat kakak Chae sekarat, Chae nekat mengunjunginya bersama Yul tanpa ijin dari sang suami.

Akhirnya Sin dan Chae Kyeong mengetahui kalau Yul penyebab mereka harus bercerai. Namun keadaan tidak bisa diubah begitu saja. Chae Kyeong memutuskan keluar dari Istana. Sementara itu Hyo Rin menawarkan perjanjian dengan Yul agar Sin dan Chae Kyeong tidak bersatu kembali.

Sin mengetahui perjanjian rahasia antara Hyo Rin dan Yul dan memutuskan untuk mengakhiri hubungannya dengan Hyo Rin. Namun Yul bertindak lebih jauh dengan mengancam Chae Kyeong untuk pergi bersamanya atau Tahta Putra Mahkota taruhannya. Apakah Sin bisa mendapatkan Chae Kyeong kembali?

Atas perintah Raja, Sin diminta menahan Chae Kyeong di vila Putri. Padahal Chae Kyeong telah berjanji untuk bersama Yul karena diancam. Sementara itu Yul merencanakan sesuatu yang akan memporakporandakan Kerajaan karena dia merasa tidak akan bisa memiliki Chae Kyeong.

Rencana Yul tiba-tiba hancur berantakan ketika secara mengejutkan Raja mengumumkan rahasianya kepada publik. Takut dengan apa yang mungkin dilakukan Yul setelah kejadian itu, Chae Kyeong kabur dari Sin yang menahannya di vila. Namun kecelakaan menimpanya.

Sin menerima pencopotan dirinya dari posisi Putra Mahkota menjadi pangeran dengan baik. Keinginannya menikah kembali dengan Chae Kyeong pun sudah disetujui. Namun di saat pengumuman penobatan Putra Mahkota yang baru, Yul menghilang.
