Distant and humorless, he spends all his time in the makeshift laboratory he's set up in the family barn. He and Hannah use more energy sniping at each other than communicating their wants and needs. I enjoyed the challenge of writing a romantic love story against the background of a bleak future. The "threesome" aspect added another layer of intricacy in creating believable characters and plot. I can't wait to see if my readers love the end result as much as I do less
