Better than all the money the new hotel would make him, was the look in the old man face when he told him the secret of the B&B's success. But, despite his business successes, his personal life had fallen to shit. First a cheating fiancé than a black-mailing key employee, leaving him understaffed just before the grand opening. With no other choice, a temp was called to help out - even though there was no time to ensure that she was okay with their unusual business model. Walker promised his business partner that he'd keep his dick in his pants with the new hire, but that promise went out of the window the second she slammed into his life. She didn't admit that her so-called "resort experience," and her position as "catering manager" really just meant that she'd been in charge of refilling the vending machine with Cheetos and Snicker's Bars at her parents flea-bag roadside motel in Tyler, Texas. Nor did she hesitate to lie about having her own transportation which was a prerequisite for the job for some reason. In her mind, she paid taxes - or would if she ever had a income - so technically, the busses were her own transportation - in a way.... Determined to do her best to get and keep the job, Roxy headed out at the crack of dawn to catch the first bus.
