I blocked out the truth as a way to protect myself to believe that there was something better, only there wasn’t. There never was. There is more to this world than I could ever fathom, full of things that I could only conjure up in a dream or nightmare. The fact remains, it’s all real and I want nothing to do with any of it. But it doesn’t matter what I want, because the choice was made for me. I have to face this reality whether I want to or not. I just fear the things coming my way, for this is only the beginning. less
