People who shouldn’t concern themselves with my shit. Like the fire chief and the other guys on my crew. They have enough on their plates to deal with, rather than concerning themselves with my well-being. Right when things start to get real bad, a distraction crosses my path. A pretty girl with dark red hair and green eyes named Brea. And the best part? She works right beside the fire station. She is the cure to my pain, and she doesn’t even know it. And that’s how I want to keep it. But I can’t hide my trauma forever, and when she sees the effects of my time overseas firsthand, she can’t help herself.
