Caleb has heard Logan's show; the whole football team listens to it during their morning workouts, getting more and more pumped with rage against the little man with the big mouth on the radio. But not Caleb. Caleb sees something in Logan, something Logan has trouble seeing himself. Caleb sees a man who, with a little training, might put his mouth to better use than ranting into a microphone.Submitting to Caleb's psychological training, Logan willingly becomes a pawn in the quarterback's sexually charged games. Hanging out with Caleb and submitting to him and his jock friends is the first time that Logan has ever felt a sense of meaning in his life, a sense of pleasure. But submission is a dangerous game, and you don't just hit the showers afterwards and throw your pads in a locker when you're done. Now it's Jimmy with his cauliflower ear and bully's sneer that Caleb has to deal with, in addition to Nick, the dangerously unbalanced second-string quarterback. Tossed around, threatened, and terrified by these muscular jocks, Logan has to figure out a way to enjoy his newfound sensual desires while protecting himself from the possibility of violence. There has to be a way, he figures, to submit to alpha males without getting hurt. Fortunately, Caleb is firmly in control in his own cold and emotionless way, and he won't let anyone harm Logan. Or at least, so Logan hopes, even as Nick and Jimmy and the other jocks gather round, ready to have some fun with the loud mouth little sophomore. less

And Caleb has plans inside of plans: plans to reform Nick, plans to control the lacrosse team's anger, and plans to keep his fellow football players eligible when they all take a philosophy class that turns out to be a lot harder than it was supposed to be. And Logan's central to all those plans, sometimes as bait, sometimes as a resource, sometimes just as entertainment and a source of physical pleasure. Logan's not quite sure he wants to be any of those things, though. It'd be a lot easier to go back to his life before he met Caleb and got involved in so many weird and kinky activities with his friends. It would certainly simplify things if he could just control his submissive urges, especially when they're directed to wannabe alpha males like Nick, whom he doesn't even like. He's going to have to come to terms with those desires soon, though, one way or another, because the lacrosse team is closing in, ready to get their revenge for slights real or imagined. And Caleb can't be there to protect him all the time. less

Pete's hatred of Caleb and Logan is as relentless and persistent as his wrestling. Even as Caleb and Logan move off campus, Pete's presence haunts them from a distance. He's much more concerned with his new roommates: football players, baseball jocks, wrestlers, and lax rats, all of them swimming in testosterone and barely contained appetites. Caleb says the house is a school for alphas, and Logan is the lab, but sharing a house with ten other demanding, alpha-male jocks might be more than Logan can handle. It's bad enough that he has to live with Nick, the sadistic second-string quarterback. But he's also got Cody, the dangerously shady lacrosse player, breathing down his neck, among many other cocky, demanding jocks. Caleb has a plan, and Logan's trying to trust it, but this much testosterone in one place is bound to be volatile. And as for Pete, he's not going to be content with a few snarky text messages. He's got plans of his own, and a spy in the house, and Logan's not quite sure whom he can trust anymore. Even Caleb has secrets, and in a house of so many alphas, it's hard to know whom Logan can trust – or even if he can trust anyone at all. less
