The only way to stop the creature is with equal destructive power. That’s where I come in. Not that I have any kind of destructive power of my own. That would have been way too cool. Instead, I’ve been tasked with acting as a supernatural dog walker for an equally powerful creature. Of course, said creature happens to be my ex from a previous life. Yeah, it’s as messy as it sounds. He’s lost me once and will stop at nothing to possess me. To cap it off, we’re bound by a bond that makes me burn for him, even when I’m not sure I like the guy. Remember when seeing ghosts was my biggest problem? I miss those days. Now, I’m magically bonded (shackled) to a creature of unlimited destructive power. He insists we are destined for each other and that I will belong to him. If that wasn’t enough, I’ve been kidnapped by another destructive creature – the one I’m supposed to help kill. Some part of me thought being murdered in front of my mate was rock bottom. It was the delusional part. Because I didn’t stay dead. Instead, I woke up tethered to my psychotic ex who still insists we’re soul mates. I insist he seek immediate medical attention. To top things off, my actual mate will stop at nothing to get me back – even if it costs him everything. It’s a good thing I don’t have anxiety issues, or this might be terrible for my mental health.
