Here is an excerpt of her story…. I held my breath in wonderment as I gazed at my reflection in the long oval mirror that had once been my mother’s. I placed my hand on my nervous stomach, feeling my grandmother’s lace beneath my fingers. I was awestruck. This dress had been a labor of love for the past three months. With my grandmother’s wedding lace and portions of my mother’s, the Queen of Fales, pearl strewed wedding dress, my own wedding dress was now a creative culmination of my legacy as Princess of Fales. It was breathtaking and assured me that my approaching wedding was very real indeed. I smiled as tears filled my eyes. I had never been so happy and certainly had never looked so beautiful before. “I love it!” I whispered, overcome with happiness and all the giddiness of a bride-to-be. A knock at the door sounded.
