Damien Drechsler, expert translator of detective novels, has come here on a two-week-vacation to do exactly that. But things don't go to plan. The very first night, Damien meets Nikos, a handsome young local who seduces him on a lonesome beach. And when walking back to the hotel, Damien is almost killed by a reckless driver. The next day he learns that an old man from the village has been run over on the same country road where his near-accident has occurred.
